BeaverBeads™ coated with polymer have rich functional COOH or NH2 groups, which are capable of covalently immobilizing biological ligands, such as peptides, proteins, antibodies and oligonucleotides. When it is under special chemical reagent (eg. EDC), polypeptide, protein, oligonucleotide and other bioligands can be covalent coupled to the surface of microspheres. Combined with the optimized sealants, reduced background value can be achieved.
