1, Description
BeaverBeadsTM Mag OH are specially designed for nucleic acid extraction and purification, with a large amount of OH groups. Magnetic silica microspheres are core-shell structure with superparamagnetic internal iron oxide kernel and external coated silica shell. The nucleic acid can be combined by hydrophobic effect, hydrogen bonding and electrostatic action in the solution of high salt and low pH, but won’t combined with other molecular, such as protein. Undecorated beads with hydroxyl silica surface, can extract the blood DNA and RNA from animal and plant tissues and forensic samples in cell culture medium.
