They can specifically bind to DYKDDDDK-tagged fusion proteins in lysates, serum, ascites, etc., from animals, plants, or microorganisms. These beads can be conveniently used with magnetic separators for immunoprecipitation (IP), co-immunoprecipitation (Co-IP), or purification of DYKDDDDK-tagged fusion proteins or protein complexes.
